Statement in memory of Beau Biden

"I was greatly saddened to learn of Beau Biden's passing. I was fortunate to work with Beau during his two terms serving as Attorney General of Delaware. Beau always stood up for what he believed in on behalf of the people of his state and for our country. Not only was he an exemplary colleague and public servant, he was a terrific person. His passing is a devastating loss to his family, his state and our nation. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family." - Lisa Madigan
